Conciencia, actitud y percepción de los estudiantes de posgrado hacia el plagio

Resumen

Objetivo. Analizar el nivel de conciencia, actitud y percepción hacia el plagio entre los estudiantes de posgrado de la Universidad Chaudhary Ranbir Singh, Jind-Haryana.

Método. Se aplicó un cuestionario bien estructurado a 150 estudiantes de posgrado de la universidad. La muestra de estudiantes fue diversa, abarcando distintas disciplinas, como ciencias, humanidades y ciencias sociales.

Resultados. Los resultados de este estudio indican que los estudiantes de posgrado no poseen un alto nivel de conciencia sobre el plagio y sus consecuencias en la India. Incluso hasta ahora, no lo consideran como un elemento punitivo reconocible, como se desprende de manera explícita en los resultados del estudio.

Conclusiones. En este estudio, hemos tratado diversas cuestiones relevantes. Para lograrlo, es necesario que la comisión de becas universitarias y las propias universidades desarrollen un mecanismo que fomente la conciencia entre los estudiantes de posgrado sobre el plagio. Asimismo, deberían informarles periódicamente acerca de las consecuencias y posibles soluciones.
