Ciencia Abierta en las ciencias biomédicas y las ciencias de la salud

tendencias y prácticas reflejadas en la producción científica en la base de datos Dimensions

Resumen

Objetivo. Caracterizar cómo las tendencias de investigación y las prácticas de ciencia abierta se reflejan en la producción científica de las Ciencias Biomédicas (Biomedical and Clinical Sciences) y las Ciencias de la Salud (Health Sciences), de acuerdo con la taxonomía de la base Dimensions, explorando la estructura intelectual y social de estos ámbitos. Método. Investigación exploratoria y descriptiva, utilizando técnicas bibliométricas, análisis de redes sociales y análisis temático. Se utilizó como fuente de datos la base Dimensions. Se analizaron indicadores de producción y se realizaron tres análisis relacionales: coocurrencia de palabras del título, acoplamiento bibliográfico de autores y cocitación de documentos. Los mapas de red se elaboraron con VOSviewer. Resultados. La producción científica presenta un crecimiento relevante a partir de 2020. Los principales temas tratan sobre la transparencia, la apertura, la reproducibilidad y el intercambio de datos. Las tendencias incluyen la evaluación de las prácticas de ciencia abierta en instituciones y revistas, y la adhesión a las directrices de transparencia. Las prácticas identificadas incluyen la publicación en revistas de acceso abierto oro, preprints y el prerregistro de protocolos en el Open Science Framework. Conclusiones. Las investigaciones reflejan el cambio gradual de la cultura científica hacia la transparencia y el intercambio de todos los componentes del ciclo de investigación. Se observa una adhesión gradual y creciente a las prácticas de registro de protocolos de estudio y de intercambio de datos en plataformas abiertas.

Doctora en Documentación e Información Científica por la Universidad de Granada, España (2010), Máster en Biblioteconomía y Documentación por la Universidad de La Habana (2007) y Licenciada en Documentación Científica y Biblioteconomía por la Universidad de La Habana (1996). Posdoctorado en Ciencia de la Información - Universidad Federal de Pernambuco (2014-2018). Actualmente es profesora adjunta del Departamento de Ciencia de la Información de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande do Norte y profesora permanente del Programa de Posgrado en Ciencia de la Información de la UFRN. Vicelíder del grupo de investigación Estudios Críticos en Biblioteconomía y Ciencia de la Información. Editora jefe de la revista Informação na Sociedade Contemporânea y editora asociada de la revista electrónica Revista Eletrônica de Comunicação, Informação e Inovação em Saúde (RECIIS).
