Call for papers for 2025
Preservation of cultural heritage and collections in the context of disasters caused by human or natural actions: including strategies, actions, policies and recovery of heritage in emergency contexts, among others. Adoption of measures to preserve physical and digital collections in an ecological manner, reducing resource consumption and environmental impact in information institutions.
Emerging technologies: critical impacts of the use of artificial intelligence, big data and automation in information management, focusing on algorithmic biases, privacy, technological obsolescence and environmental impact, sustainability of resources.
Inclusion and diversity: adoption of policies and practices that guarantee equal access to information, representing marginalized groups and promoting accessibility in information systems and services.
Open science, digital humanities and preservation of scientific communication: policies, practices and theories that promote open access to knowledge, including digital preservation, scientific data management, citizen science, open innovation and sustainability in scientific communication infrastructure.
Education and professional training: developing skills and creating modern curricula to prepare professionals to meet current and future demands in information management.
