Important Notice | Biblios Platform Migration
Dear Biblios Community,
We would like to inform you that the Biblios journal platform will undergo a domain migration process. As a result, it will no longer operate under the domain currently hosted by the University of Pittsburgh and will instead be available through a new web address.
During the migration period, the platform will be temporarily unavailable. Consequently, access to the website, manuscript submissions, and other editorial activities will not be possible.
Once the migration has been completed, we will announce the new website address and the resumption of regular activities.
To help minimize any uncertainty, we have outlined the expected impact for each user group below:
Authors with manuscripts under review or in the editorial workflow
- The migration process may result in temporary adjustments to editorial timelines.
- All previously submitted manuscripts will be preserved and will continue to be handled by the editorial team.
- Any updates regarding the status of manuscripts will be communicated to authors through the journal's official communication channels.
New authors
- The manuscript submission system will be temporarily unavailable during the migration.
- We kindly ask prospective authors to wait until the platform is reopened before submitting new manuscripts.
- As soon as the new domain is fully operational, we will announce the resumption of normal editorial activities.
Reviewers
- Access to manuscripts and peer-review functions may be temporarily unavailable during the migration period.
- If you are currently reviewing a manuscript, we kindly ask you to continue observing the deadlines established by the editorial team.
- New review invitations and deadlines may be temporarily adjusted during this period.
Readers
- Access to the journal website may experience temporary interruptions or instability during the migration.
- Once the migration has been completed, all journal content will continue to be available through the new domain.
The purpose of this change is to strengthen the journal’s technological infrastructure while maintaining its commitment to Open Science.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and remain available to answer any questions through our official communication channels.
If you have any questions, please contact us at bibliosjournal@gmail.com. Our editorial team will be pleased to provide assistance and support throughout the migration process.
Sincerely,
Editorial Team
