Abstract

En esta ocasión, nuestro caminante museístico nos relata su visita a las Huacas del Sol y de la Luna, pertenecientes a la Cultura prehispánica Moche, en el norte del Perú.

Ambas pirámides se encuentran una cerca de la otra. Restos arqueológicos de gran tamaño, aunque sólo quede parte de ellas... ya sea a causa de los españoles en la época de la Conquista, o por los huaqueros de la zona, o por fenómenos naturales como el "Fenómeno del Niño". Los arqueólogos han realizado excavaciones en la Huaca de la Luna, y están a la espera de poder iniciar sus estudios en las otras fases de investigación del proyecto.

Jacinto Ramírez Sánchez, Licenciado en Geografía e Historia de la Universidad de La Laguna (Islas Canarias – ESPAÑA) mostrando especial interés en la Prehistoria y la Arqueología. Ha realizado trabajos bibliotecarios, participando en algunos eventos internacionales. Actualmente, hace de “Caminante Museístico” en la Revista BIBLIOS, aprovechando su residencia en el Perú.
