La presente ponencia tiene como objetivo, crear conciencia entre los Archiveros sobre la necesidad y factibilidad de aplicar las técnicas y conocimientos del marketing desarrollados por las nuevas tendencias administrativas, a las actividades propias de la Archivística. Asimismo, establecer los conceptos más importantes del marketing que pueden ser adoptados por la técnica Archivística, y, de otro lado, establecer la urgencia de lograr un cambio y de adoptar las herramientas que pone a nuestra disposición la administración moderna a través de las técnicas del marketing y de la calidad total.
