Melhora da competência leitora com um clube de leitura na escola

Resumo

Algumas escolas que procuram fazer uma melhor animação à leitura põem em funcionamento clubes de leitura na escola, no entanto, esta prática segue sendo minoritária no contexto das ações que as escolas implementam para melhorar a competência leitora dos alunos. Neste artigo analisa-se etnográficamente a contribuição que tem feito um clube de leitura na escola para melhorar a competência leitora de seus participantes ao longo do primeiro curso acadêmico que se põe em funcionamento. Os resultados mostram que os membros do clube têm aumentado a compreensão leitora, a educação em valores humanos e o gosto pela leitura. É possível concluir que a criação de um clube de leitura na escola permite melhorar a competência leitora dos participantes.
