Objective. To assess the FAIRness of Aleia datasets. Method. Based on a descriptive study with a qualitative and quantitative
approach, the 16 datasets deposited in Aleia were assessed for the FAIR Principles. The F-UJI Automated FAIR Data
Assessment Tool, which automates the assessment of FAIR metrics, was used. Results. The highest levels of FAIRness are
linked to findability and interoperability. Regarding findability, 100% of the sample reached an advanced level in four of five metrics. Regarding interoperability, 100% of the datasets adhered to an advanced level in two of three metrics. Accessibility and reusability were the weak points of the sample. None of the five reusability metrics were implemented at an advanced level for 100% of the sample. Conclusions. Overall, the Aleia datasets are at moderate levels of FAIRness. To achieve higher levels of FAIRness, it is necessary to invest in improvements in accessibility and reusability. On the other hand, datasets have excelled in
terms of findability and interoperability, reaching advanced levels of compliance.
